JOCK HARVEY
It could be said that whisky is in Jock’s blood; his ancestral line meandering all the way back to one of Scotland’s most northerly mainland townships, Wick.
In 1839, his ancestor, John Harvey settled in Australia and began farming. Since then the following five generations of Harveys have had a close affinity with the rich fertile earth of McLaren Vale and its vines.
Jock brings a finely tuned palate and decades of wine industry nous to the whisky making process. More than that, he has developed lifelong friendships and a far-reaching network of colleagues in the wine community, many of whom are more than keen to collaborate and help make a great Australian whisky.
